The Opportunity
We’re looking for a skilled Kitchen Manager or Kitchen Team Leader who is ready to take the next step in their career. In this leadership role, you will shape kitchen operations, maintain high standards, and support and develop the kitchen team at The Cider Press.
Responsibilities
- Support, coach, and mentor your kitchen team at The Cider Press
- Demonstrate a high standard of food knowledge and skill
- Maintain up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, health & safety, and legal knowledge
- Hire and onboard new team members in an inclusive and welcoming manner
- Lead, guide, and develop the kitchen team with ongoing training and growth opportunities
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety; ensure a safe and organized workspace
- Manage the kitchen schedule to ensure efficient staffing and meet labour targets
- Conduct regular stock checks to assist cost management and achieve performance goals
- Drive sales and growth by fostering strong relationships between kitchen and front-of-house teams
