As a Kitchen Team Member, do you have…

  • The ability to assist the Head Chef with orders, stock taking, food hygiene at The Merchant
  • The experience to maintain kitchen equipment

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Member:

  • Assisting with food preparation.
  • Producing high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
  • Ensuring the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
  • Overseeing deliveries.
  • Offering suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
  • Working with the team to achieve company targets.

The Merchant is an exciting contemporary bar in Glasgow City Centre. We are situated within walking distance from all major travel links, excellent hotels, and the 'Style Mile' shopping district. The Merchant is set over two floors, and we aim to provide comfortable surroundings for our guests to enjoy their time with us no matter the occasion.
