As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving new business growth across the Stonegate Managed estate. Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager, you will lead proactive national sales outreach to secure incremental prebooked and total sales. Your core focus will be identifying and generating new business leads, nurturing them through a best-in-class pre-visit journey, and converting them into loyal guests. Your professionalism, self-motivation, and passion for achieving measurable results will be key to driving our proactive sales strategy across the Stonegate Managed estate. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads to be contacted in your pre-designated organised group demographic/ geography/ sales campaign
  • Make outbound contact via relevant channels with generated leads, creating attention to the right people, building trust, showing value and using advanced sales skills to convert them into new guests and/ or partnerships
  • Actively use LinkedIn and other social platforms to expand network and pipeline in your pre-designated area/ geography/ sales campaign
  • Maintain accurate records of lead generation, prospecting, meetings, proposals, objections, sales and guest interactions in our CRM system
  • Ensure all booking enquiries are added to the Collins booking system, with automation at forefront of mind
  • Plan. Do. Review: Effectively plan your working week and sales campaigns with the Senior Business Development Manager; Deliver the plan, keeping relevant stakeholders updated of progress; Present periodic results to the Senior Business Development Manager (plus other SLT members if required) and efficiently review in advance of identifying new opportunities and next sales campaigns
  • Consistently deliver on outbound contact KPIs and strive for best-in-class conversion so that all personal sales targets are achieved
  • Work cohesively with other Business Development Managers and other Sales team members, sharing best practice to deliver periodic and quarterly sales targets
  • Know the format: Keep up to date on the Stonegate Managed propositions and interact with all leads in the right tone of voice and always embracing our Values
  • Stay informed about promotions, competitor activity and industry trends
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Operations and other stakeholders

    Can demonstrate success in proactive and outbound sales across hospitality, food & beverage, and related sectors

  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities, leveraging data to drive decisions and uncover business opportunities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a commercially focused sales approach
  • Skilled in communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement
