About Us: Founded in 1968, stoneCIRCLE has grown into one of the largest stonemasonry companies in England. We specialise in crafting high-end architectural and bespoke stonework for commercial, retail, hotel and residential projects across the UK and beyond.

The Role: We are looking for an organised and reliable Stock Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring stock across our warehouse and stone yard, ensuring slabs, materials, and equipment are accurately recorded, stored safely, and available when required for production and site operations. We are ideally looking for someone with experience and knowledge of stone materials and handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock within the warehouse and external stone yard
  • Monitor and track incoming and outgoing stone slabs and materials
  • Receive, check, and organise deliveries
  • Maintain accurate stock and inventory records
  • Carry out regular stock counts
  • Ensure slabs are clearly labelled and stored safely
  • Coordinate movements of slabs between the yard, workshop, and projects
  • Liaise with suppliers, workshop staff, and site teams regarding stock requirements
  • Keep storage and yard areas organised, clean, and safe
  • Assist with ordering materials and consumables when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in stock control, warehouse, yard, or inventory management
  • Experience handling large materials or stone slabs is advantageous
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and experience using stock systems is an advantage
  • Forklift licence is beneficial but not essential
