Our people are at the heart of everything we do — their ideas, energy, and drive shape our success.
If you’re an enthusiastic marketer with a passion for delivering exceptional events and supporting multi‑channel marketing activity — and you’re looking for a fixed-term contract role (up to 14 months) where you can make a visible impact within a small, award‑winning team — this could be the perfect next step.
About the Role
Covering the maternity leave of our Marketing & Events Executive, you’ll take the lead on delivering our in‑person and virtual events throughout the year — from planning and logistics to on‑the‑day execution. You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing and wider team to support campaigns across email, social, content, awards, and digital channels. This is a hands‑on, detail‑driven role where you’ll help shape memorable experiences for our advisers and partners, while also contributing to broader marketing activity that enhances engagement and strengthens our brand.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Event coordination — Lead the planning and delivery of all Stonebridge events, both in‑person and virtual.
- Multi‑channel marketing — Support the creation and execution of campaigns across email, social, online, and content.
- Collateral & merchandise — Source, order, and manage promotional items and event materials.
- Performance reporting — Monitor and report on the success of your events and marketing activity.
- Process adherence — Follow internal marketing and finance processes to ensure smooth delivery.
- Team collaboration — Contribute to weekly and monthly team meetings, sharing ideas and insights.
Your Objectives
Your primary goal is to deliver high‑quality, well‑executed events that strengthen relationships with our advisers and partners. You’ll also support marketing activity that enhances communication, improves engagement, and contributes to a consistent, professional brand experience. Everything you do should help make our customers’ lives easier while supporting the continued growth of the Stonebridge network.
What You’ll Bring
- A proactive, organised self‑starter who takes ownership
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑coordination skills
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high‑quality work
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support wider team goals
- Commercial awareness and a focus on continuous improvement
- Able to fully satisfy the pre‑employment screening process, which comprises code of conduct, right to work, identity, 5 years referencing, AML, credit screen, financial sanctions and DBS checks
- At least 12 months in a marketing role with hands‑on event delivery
- Experience coordinating stakeholders and working across teams
- Financial services or regulated industry experience
- Familiarity with marketing systems, reporting, or digital tools
Why Join Stonebridge?
You’ll enjoy the same great benefits as our wider team, including:
- Competitive salary (up to £28,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience)
- Potential for a performance‑related bonus
- 22 days holiday + your birthday off + extra days for length of service
- Hybrid working (from Derby or Basildon, depending on your location)
- Remote working may also be considered for candidates who live further afield
- Free breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks in the office
- Company pension with optional matched contributions
- Volunteering days, wellbeing time, and employee recognition schemes
- Retail discounts, gym subsidy, and salary‑sacrifice options
- £500 employee referral scheme
