We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented New Partner Associate (Mortgage Quality and Compliance Adviser) to join our New Partner team in the compliance operations department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in mortgage and protection administration, compliance, quality assurance, or adviser support who’s ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll play a key role in maintaining Stonebridge’s high standards and helping advisers deliver the best outcomes for their clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Review mortgage and insurance case files against internal and FCA standards, supporting specific AR firms / Advisers to get Competent Adviser Status (CAS) accredited.
  • Conduct 1-2-1 reviews and performance observations with new advisers.
  • Coaching and guidance to upskill the new advisers, fostering good practice and standards.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback and guidance to new advisers by phone and email.
  • Liaising with other teams (Partner Support, BDMs) to help the new advisers get CAS accredited within target timelines.
  • Review promotional materials and adviser CPD records to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate internal records and management information.
  • Monitor AR competence records (CPD) and provide feedback.
  • Ensure all new AR firms CAS accredited within expected timelines (currently 3 months).

Experience

  • Experience within mortgage, protection, financial services, or quality assurance, ideally in compliance or adviser support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, organised approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to fully satisfy the pre-employment screening process, which comprises code of conduct, right to work, identity, 5 years referencing, AML, credit screen, financial sanctions and DBS checks.
