This is an excellent opportunity for one experienced restructuring professional to broaden their experience on complex corporate casework and advisory projects, within the London office of a firm known for their fantastic reputation and exciting work. You will work across a mixed caseload of interesting insolvency work, with a focus on complex administrations. You’ll be expected to lead junior staff members and case strategy, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations. You will also be providing assistance with advisory projects from time to time, including IBRs, AMAs, option reviews and contingency planning assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases (Trading and Pre-Pack ADMs, CVLs, and CVAs)
- Providing ad-hoc assistance on a mixture of advisory assignments, should the opportunity arise.
- Lead case planning, strategy, and execution with minimal supervision
- Draft high-quality reports, statutory documents in line with insolvency legislation, and correspondence
- Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and regulatory requirements
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, reviewing work and providing feedback
- Ability to understand, explain and produce cash flow forecasts, statement of affairs, estimated outcome statements
- Liaise with stakeholders including directors, creditors, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies
- Support business development initiatives and client relationship management
Qualifications
- CPI or other relevant insolvency professional qualifications highly desirable
- 5+ years’ experience in corporate restructuring preferred
- Proven experience managing insolvency cases from cradle to grave
- Strong technical knowledge of UK insolvency legislation and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insolvency case management systems (e.g. IPS)
- Ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver under pressure
- ACA/ACCA or JIEB qualification is advantageous
