This mid-tier law firm holds a fantastic reputation in the market and is now seeking a talented Senior Associate to join their dynamic Insolvency team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with 5-8 years of post-qualification experience to take on a leadership role, in a firm that can offer a brilliant work-life balance and supportive team environment. You will step in as the team lead in the absence of Partners, ensuring continuity and excellence in client service.
The ideal new joiner will be a highly commercial individual with several years’ experience across contentious insolvency matters such as disputes, cross-border issues, commercial litigation and antecedent transactions.
Your profile:
- 5-8 years PQE, with a strong background in insolvency law.
- Existing experience working across a mixture of contentious insolvency cases.
- Strong communication skills, and experience delegating to and managing junior colleagues – as well as an enthusiasm for business development and networking.
- Excellent working knowledge of the Insolvency Act 1986 and Insolvency Rules 2016 and Companies Act 2006.
- Proven ability to lead and manage insolvency matters, particularly in contentious areas.
- Capable of offering oversight and expertise, immediately taking on supervisory responsibilities.
- Good contacts in the Insolvency Profession and a following would also be welcomed.
- As would a candidate that has majored on contentious insolvency work, looking to broaden their skill set to become a fully rounded insolvency lawyer.
