We are pleased to be exclusively recruiting for one of the UK’s fastest growing specialists in Corporate Restructuring, Recovery and Insolvency. They are looking for exceptional talent, who want the opportunity to drive their business forward, with the support of a team of unique and experienced industry experts.
This is a really important role in the company as you will report directly into the Operations Partner and multiple IPs and be a key part of the senior management team. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the firm adheres to industry technical standards and to implement procedural changes that constantly improve compliance standards within the firm.
The key duties and responsibilities in this role, although not limited to, are:
- Overseeing the completion of regular spot checks on insolvency cases,
- Overseeing the maintenance and development of document packs / templates and checklists,
- Dealing with and coordinating the response to complaints and other regulatory matters,
- Acting as the lead liaison with reviewers during QAD inspections,
- Attending technical and compliance user group meetings,
- Delivering internal training sessions to colleagues,
- Reviewing the work conducted by the compliance team.
To be considered for the role, you must have detailed knowledge of insolvency legislation, relevant case law, SIPs and technical guidance from regulators. Exposure to having processed, reviewed and provided technical assistance on a broad range of insolvency appointments. Strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and good working knowledge of IPS is all essential.
JIEB qualification is essential, although the technical skills and application of technical knowledge on casework is fundamental. If you are a technically strong insolvency professional with good commercial acumen who enjoys the more regulatory, compliance and technical work to insolvency then this is a role to seriously consider.
The position will help elevate your leadership skills and provide you with the opportunity to implement change and take ownership of major projects. The business would require office based work and flexibility to travel to their nationwide offices. Open mindedness and good people skills are required to work alongside different insolvency teams.
