Our clients are a leading, dynamic, and entrepreneurial firm with a strong focus on helping clients navigate complex Infrastructure or Real Estate transactions. As an Associate Director, you would have the opportunity to lead debt advisory engagements and work closely with clients to provide tailored financing solutions that align with their business objectives. There would be a defined focus on the Structured Lending, Refinancing and Private Equity space. If successful, you would be part of a collaborative team that values diversity, inclusivity, and a commitment to excellence.
Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:
- Leading debt advisory engagements and developing financing solutions that meet clients' needs.
- Conducting financial analysis and interpreting modelling to evaluate financing options and make recommendations to clients.
- Use of leveraged finance and debt advisory to advance the strategic goals of clients.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and lenders/investors, with a special focus on Private Equity firms.
- Managing and mentoring junior team members.
Requirements:
- Experience in preparing IMs, managing data rooms, financial modelling and conducting diligence for both Debt and Equity transactions.
- Demonstrable private equity, debt advisory and leverage finance transactions experience and exposure.
- Experience of Real Estate or Infrastructure debt advisory.
- Excellent people management skills are essential, as is the ability to delegate effectively, collaborate and multitask efficiently.
- You should also have evidence of complex stakeholder management in a client-facing environment.
- Relevant qualifications, i.e. ACCA, ACA, CFA or equivalent experience would be valuable.
- Comfort with origination and billing targets.
- Experience in either an advisory firm, banking institution or Private Equity firm.
As a key decision-maker and influential leader within the organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the firm, providing strategic advice and guidance to clients, and driving its continued success. You will deliver guidance to clients, navigating challenging situations with professionalism and astute decision-making, whilst delivering exceptional client service and fostering long-term relationships. This position is earmarked for quick progression to Director level, at the appropriate point.
