Pay Range: $130,000 β $140,000 Yearly
Job Summary: The Regional Director of Sales provides sales leadership, strategic development, training, and hands-on support to a portfolio of hotels across designated markets. This role partners closely with General Managers and property-level sales teams to drive performance, capture business across all segments, and ensure alignment with Stonebridge standards and brand expectations.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Collaborate with General Managers and Directors of Sales to optimize group, corporate, and business travel revenue across assigned hotels
Guide sales strategy development and execution, ensuring teams are maximizing sales leads, prospecting efforts, and RFP responses
Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to sales teams on brand systems, sales techniques, and market positioning
Monitor and ensure accurate documentation of sales activities in brand CRM platforms, including solicitation calls, contracts, and correspondence
Communicate segment-specific strategies, including business travel and group market trends, to ensure market competitiveness
Evaluate the ROI of promotional opportunities, trade shows, and industry events; recommend participation based on revenue potential
Support property teams in building and executing business plans, setting realistic goals for rate and occupancy growth
Review STAR reports and competitive performance regularly; assist in developing action plans based on performance insights
Partner with Revenue Management and GMs to ensure appropriate pricing strategies and alignment between sales and revenue teams
Promote accountability for proactive sales outreach including cold calling, local business development, and relationship management
Serve as a resource for property-level performance issues, providing targeted action plans and ongoing support
Ensure consistent use of brand tools and systems such as SalesPro, CI/TY, and other platforms as applicable
Uphold Stonebridge standards of appearance, professionalism, and attendance in all regional and property-level interactions
Perform additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President of Sales
Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality preferred
4β6 years of experience as a Director of Sales; multi-property experience strongly preferred
Proven success in leading hotel sales teams and achieving revenue goals across multiple market segments
Deep understanding of both group and business transient segments, including RFP strategy and market trends
Ability to develop, communicate, and execute effective sales strategies and business plans
Experience with SalesPro and other hotel brand CRM systems required
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and other reporting and planning tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present in small group settings
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple properties and projects concurrently
Ability to analyze financial reports, sales data, and performance metrics to guide decision-making
Professional demeanor with a collaborative approach to leadership and team development
Work Environment:
Primarily office-based with regular travel to assigned hotels and markets
Work is performed in a professional indoor environment with occasional site visits, client meetings, and industry events
Moderate noise levels consistent with hospitality and office settings
