The Senior Human Resources Manager supports the execution of human resources strategies across assigned properties, ensuring alignment with corporate initiatives, compliance standards, and operational goals. This role partners closely with field leadership to drive talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR process execution while promoting a consistent and effective people strategy across the portfolio.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Support and execute talent acquisition strategies, including job postings, candidate screening, and coordinating interviews with operational leadership.
- Partner with property leadership to drive effective hiring practices and ensure alignment with staffing needs and workforce planning.
- Manage and maintain accurate HRIS data, ensuring timely entry of employee information, changes, and compliance documentation.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, partnering with leadership to address concerns and drive appropriate resolutions.
- Promote consistent application of company policies, procedures, and compliance standards across assigned properties.
- Support performance management processes, including coaching leaders on documentation, corrective action, and employee development.
- Assist with onboarding processes to ensure a positive and efficient new hire experience.
- Monitor and support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies.
- Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, and other sourcing initiatives to build talent pipelines.
- Collaborate with corporate and field leadership to implement HR initiatives, programs, and strategic priorities.
- Provide general HR support across assigned properties, ensuring consistency in execution and communication.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support business needs.
Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of progressive human resources experience within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of human resources disciplines, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Proven ability to partner with operational leadership and provide guidance on HR-related matters in a multi-property or field-based environment.
- Experience using HRIS systems and maintaining accurate employee data and documentation.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Work Environment:
- Regular travel to assigned hotel properties to support operations, leadership alignment, and human resources initiatives.
- Combination of office-based and on-site hotel environments, including front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
- Frequent interaction with property leadership, corporate teams, and team members in both individual and group settings.
- Fast-paced, multi-property environment requiring flexibility, adaptability, and responsiveness to operational priorities.
- Regular use of HR systems, reporting tools, and standard office technology to support daily responsibilities.
