The Sales & EU Dealer Supervisor is responsible for increasing StoneAge’s market share through the promotion, demonstration, and sale of StoneAge’s waterblast automated equipment and tooling, custom engineered solutions. Responsibilities include developing relationships with waterblast contractors, end-users, and OEMs, demonstrating/delivering products, and services to customers virtually, onsite, and via our Branch offices. The Sales & EU Dealer Supervisor is a key member of the StoneAge European Sales Team and helps foster and propagate safe and effective industrial cleaning throughout Europe.
This role’s territory is deemed as the United Kingdom and Ireland for direct sales and all other areas of Europe where we currently have dealers or have an interest to potentially sell or work with dealers. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager – StoneAge Europe.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- UK Regional Sales Success will be achieved by developing relationships with industrial contractors, plants and other end users.
- You will propose solutions to customers, based on a strong understanding of their needs and the capabilities of StoneAge’s products.
- You will prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations and/or quotes and follow up with key decision makers.
EU Dealer Supervisor
The Sales & EU Dealer Supervisor’s responsibility is to liaise with StoneAge dealers on a frequent basis, to help with enquiries, help offer solutions, grow StoneAge’s market share of waterblast and automated equipment, tooling, custom engineered solutions, rental and service/repair in their respective territories. Additional responsibilities include ensuring that our dealers are continually evaluated through our dealer excellence scorecard process with a goal of identifying areas where we can work with them to make any necessary improvements.
Our vision is to have our European dealers trained to be an extension of StoneAge in terms of knowledge, service, and professionalism.
Requirements of this Role:
- Foster close relationships with industrial contractors, plants, and other end-users to promote and sell waterblast tools, automated equipment, solutions, rentals, service/repair, and training.
- Prepare and deliver presentations/demonstrations, training/support, sales proposals/presentations and/or quotes and follow up with key decision makers in assigned regions.
- Propose solutions to customers based on a strong understanding of their needs and the capabilities of StoneAge products.
- Meet or exceed any assigned territory Automated Equipment and Tools sales goals that may be set by the Sales Manager of Europe.
- Identify competing products and technologies, providing regular information to Manager and Engineering team.
- Assist in collecting data and trends on current and new products.
- Assist in the growth and accuracy of the CRM database (Sales Force) for marketing, recording calls, visits, mails, demonstrations, and trainings.
- Record any new contacts or send details to the identified internal administrative staff.
- Communicate regularly with Manager and provide weekly (or bi-weekly as may be requested) sales and activity reports to Manager.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Sale Manager – StoneAge Europe or Managing Director of International Sales.

The Sales & EU Dealer Supervisor must:
- Have the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and employees and be able to communicate and interact effectively with management and team members at all levels through both verbal and written means.
- Be committed to safety and in furthering the waterblasting industry in safe work practices.
- Be considered a subject matter specialist in the field of high-pressure waterblasting, having 3+ years in the industry.
- Have good technical product and application knowledge.
- Research, analyze, monitor, and forecast market trends in the waterblast industry.
- Have proven track record in sales and relationship building skills.
- Be self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work both in a team and independently.
- Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Be flexible and able to adapt, multitask and change priority at short notice.
- Ability to coordinate work through various departments and personnel, both in house and out.
- Must be customer service driven.
- Responsible for updating time and expenses using the appropriate systems.
- Work in teams, build relationships with a focus on proactive communication, work ethics, and integrity.

OTHER INFORMATION
- Travel is required. Single and multi-day trips will be anticipated, on occasion up to two or three weeks in a month.
- Some overseas travel will be required, especially to support European dealers.
- Extended working hours may be required in the execution of this role.
- The ability to work from home may be required, there will be a mixed role of home/site/workshop/customer location-based functions.
- The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- This position may require periods of physical exertion including equipment transportation, set-up, and operation in controlled and hazardous field environments.
- The ability to present/train to groups of people both in person and online is essential.
