We are excited to be recruiting for a Branch Accountant. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups. As Branch Accountant, you will report to the Regional Accountant; this role is a key accounting position with opportunity to progress. We are willing to consider candidates with AAT qualification and/or someone with accounting experience in motor retail looking for their next step in an accounting career. You will be a valued team member working within one of our fast paced dealerships with a keen eye for detail. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of working within an accounts department and provide the highest level of accuracy, all whilst contributing towards making Stoneacre the Number One Motor Group.

An average day as Branch Accountant...
- Producing monthly management accounts.
- Submitting accounting and statistical data to manufacturers for composite reporting.
- Producing various accounting reports including weekly vehicle profits, debtor reports and forecasts.
- Completing various month end reconciliations.
- Control manufacturer bonus debts.
- Control key debtor and stock control accounts.
- Reconcile key accrual accounts.
About you...
- Experience within the motor industry would be advantageous including the use of Kerridge.
- Candidates currently working in motor retail looking for career progression will be preferred.
- Candidates currently working in practice/profession seeking their first move into industry will also be of interest.
- Part or fully AAT qualified.
- Strong attention to detail and a team player.
- Good IT Skills, particularly MS Office including Excel.
