As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for managing the process of optimising workshop resources to meet agreed departmental budgets. Representing a variety of manufacturers and handling a diverse range of vehicles and models, you will take great pride in your work, helping us to deliver exceptional customer experiences and setting an unrivalled standard for the industry, all whilst contributing towards making Stoneacre the Number One Motor Group.

An average day as a Workshop Controller includes:

  • Managing a safe workshop environment in accordance with HSO requirements.
  • Planning the distribution of work amongst the team taking into account individual skill levels.
  • Analysing and managing the effective use of workshop resources and monitoring individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure the companies targets and KPIs are met.
  • Managing liaison between workshop and service reception on customer vehicle progress.
  • Supporting the Service Manager in day-to-day duties.
  • Carrying out quality control in the workshop.
  • Offering exceptional customer service, including maintaining customer relationships.
  • Taking care of any customer issues or complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
