We are expanding our Aftersales capability with the launch of a brand-new Mobile Diagnostic Triage Van, supporting our Renault customers across South Yorkshire. We are now recruiting a motivated and hands-on Mobile Technician (Development Role) to work alongside our experienced Renault qualified Mobile Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity for a developing technician who wants to progress into advanced diagnostics, mobile triage work and manufacturer level training.

For this role, we are offering a highly competitive annual salary of up to £37,000. You will also enjoy excellent benefits!

An average day as a Motor Vehicle Technician… Working closely with our Mobile Renault Technician, you will:

  • Assist with diagnostic triage, fault finding and minor repairs
  • Support on site visits across Chesterfield, Sheffield and Doncaster
  • Help manage equipment, tooling and van readiness
  • Learn advanced diagnostic processes and Renault technical standards
  • Provide excellent customer service during on site visits
  • Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with Stoneacre processes
  • Represent the Stoneacre brand professionally in the field

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow, learn and progress into a more senior mobile diagnostic position.

About you… As a minimum, you will be qualified to Level 2 NVQ, or equivalent, in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. You will have fantastic communication skills and thrive working in a challenging yet rewarding environment. You will have the ability to work well under pressure - It will be your technical ability that will help you overcome any challenge that is thrown your way. An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. MOT Licence would also be beneficial but not essential. Hold a full UK driving licence.
