About the role… We are excited to be recruiting for a Workshop Controller. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups. As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for managing the process of optimising workshop resources to meet agreed departmental budgets. Representing a variety of manufacturers and handling a diverse range of vehicles and models, you will take great pride in your work, helping us to deliver exceptional customer experiences and setting an unrivalled standard for the industry, all whilst contributing towards making Stoneacre the Number One Motor Group.

An average day as a Workshop Controller…
- Managing a safe workshop environment in accordance with HSO requirements.
- Planning the distribution of work amongst the team taking into account individual skill levels.
- Analyse and manage the effective use of workshop resources and monitor individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure the companies targets and KPIs are met.
- Manage liaison between workshop and service reception on customer vehicle progress.
- Supporting the Service Manager in day-to-day duties.
- Carry out quality control in the workshop.
- Offering exceptional customer service, including maintaining customer relationships.
- Taking care of any customer issues or complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
