This role operates on a fixed Friday / Saturday / Sunday / Monday rota, giving the ideal candidate a stable pattern and a long mid-week break. For this role, we are offering a highly competitive annual salary of up to £45,000.

An average day as a Motor Vehicle Technician… We genuinely believe that Stoneacre Motor Group is leading the way in EV training, and we are excited to share our knowledge and expertise with you. You will be working in an industry-leading workshop boasting state-of-the-art facilities. Through both in house and manufacturer training, you will be given full support and development enabling you to reach your full potential, and elevate your career in EV Technology.

On Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday, you'll take full ownership of the entire customer journey — from welcoming customers, to carrying out Express Maintenance servicing, to handing vehicles back with confidence and professionalism. You'll be the face of Toyota during these periods, so we’re looking for someone who is as comfortable with people as they are with tools.

Utilising your expanding knowledge of Toyota vehicles and features, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair and diagnostics of our customers' vehicles to an exemplary standard within our state of the art workshop. You will be carrying out work on a diverse range of Toyota vehicles, whilst taking great pride in your work and taking complete ownership of your customers, and completing your jobs to the highest standard.

Working as part of a capable and motivated team, you will complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards. You will accurately and skilfully complete and provide diagnostic reports on our customers' vehicles. In accordance with manufacturer, warranty and dealer requirements, you will complete relevant service documentation, including job sheets, PDIs and service reports. Upon the completion of jobs, through the use of diagnostic equipment and road testing, you will check the level and quality of work that has been carried out.

About you… We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the Automotive sector within a technical role. As a minimum, you will be qualified to Level 2 NVQ, or equivalent, in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. You will have fantastic communication skills and thrive working in a challenging yet rewarding environment. You will have the ability to work well under pressure - It will be your technical ability that will help you overcome any challenge that is thrown your way. An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. MOT Licence would also be beneficial but not essential. Hold a full UK driving licence.
