About the Role
We are recruiting for a Motor Vehicle Technician. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest growing motor groups. As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the service, repair and maintenance work for our customers’ vehicles, readying them for the road ahead. Representing a variety of manufacturers and carrying out work on a diverse range of vehicles and models, you will take great pride in your work, taking complete ownership of your customers and completing your jobs to the highest standard. You will be working in an industry‑leading workshop boasting state of the art facilities. Through both in‑house and manufacturer training, you will be given full support and development enabling you to reach your full potential, elevating your career in EV technology, all whilst contributing towards making Stoneacre the Number One Motor Group.
Responsibilities
- Utilise knowledge of manufacturer vehicles and features to service, repair and diagnose customers’ vehicles to exemplary standard within the workshop.
- Work as part of a capable and motivated team, completing service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
- Provide diagnostic reports and accurately complete relevant service documentation, including job sheets, PDIs and service reports.
- Check level and quality of work upon completion of jobs using diagnostic equipment and road testing.
Qualifications
- Experience working in the automotive sector in a technical role.
- Minimum Level 2 NVQ, or equivalent, in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure; technical ability to overcome challenges.
- Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification is advantageous but not essential – full training will be provided.
- MOT Licence would also be beneficial but not essential.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- A passion for the job – we value enthusiasm and dedication.
