We are excited to be recruiting for a Bodyshop Estimator. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups. As a Bodyshop Estimator, you will be responsible for delivering great customer service, ensuring that customers' vehicles are fully and accurately assessed for repairs and damage to a high standard. You will be required to carry out admin duties and liaise with customers in a professional and timely manner.

An average day as a Bodyshop Estimator:

  • You will work closely with the Bodyshop Manager and be responsible for estimating vehicles that require body repairs and paintwork to a high standard.
  • You will ensure estimates are produced in accordance with Thatcham/Manufacture methods but also profitable to repair.
  • You will liaise with the Bodyshop Technicians for supplementary orders/parts on vehicles that are in progress.
  • You will obtain final authorisation for completed repairs; liaising with insurance companies to gain authorisation for invoicing.
  • You will supply insurers with parts/sub contract details for audit when required.
  • You will assist the Bodyshop Manager with duties involved in the running of the Bodyshop.

About you:

  • You will have fantastic communication skills and thrive working in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
  • You will have the ability to work well under pressure - your calm ability will help you overcome any challenge that is thrown your way.
  • You will have experience in developing relationships with customers, third party companies (such as insurance companies), and your colleagues.
  • You must be Audatex certified.
  • You will ideally have ATA/VDA but it is not essential.
  • You will ideally have Autoflow experience but it is not essential.
  • You will have the drive and determination to maintain a productive profitable department and the ability to work under pressure and achieve results through other people.
