As a Parts Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and providing industry-leading advice on our products and services to our valued customers. Representing a variety of manufacturers, you will boast extensive industry knowledge on a diverse range of vehicles and models. You will also take responsibility for overseeing various departments involved in the parts processes. Through both in house and manufacturer training, you will be given full support and development enabling you to reach your full potential, all whilst contributing towards making Stoneacre the Number One Motor Group.

An average day as a Parts Supervisor…

  • Overseeing the Telesales office, van drivers and warehouse staff to ensure each department is running efficiently.
  • Carry out weekly stock reporting.
  • Drive parts sales for the department.
  • Lead a team in sourcing and supplying vehicle parts efficiently for customers to meet agreed sales volume targets.
  • Assist customers via telephone, online and face-to-face, as well as processing orders over the telephone.
  • Identifying parts required for vehicles, utilising the Electronic Parts Catalogue, and our DMS system.
  • Sourcing parts for internal and external customers.
  • Report to the regional parts manager regarding the parts operations.
  • Effectively communicating with our Service department.
  • Ensure returns and bad debt is monitored regularly.

About you… We consider candidates from all backgrounds who preferably have experience working in the Automotive sector within a supervisory or management role. Competent in the use of IT systems used in the parts process, training will be provided. You will have fantastic communication skills and enjoy working in a fast paced yet rewarding environment. You will be willing to attend manufacturer training courses to ensure you have up to date knowledge of all partnered manufacturer vehicles and standards. You will be sales and target driven with a reliable and punctual work ethic and a willingness to follow instructions. You will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service within the automotive industry with a basic knowledge of vehicle layout, function and location of parts. You will have a strong attention to detail with an organised and methodical approach and the ability to work well under pressure. You will be flexible and dynamic with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. We want you to love what you do – The rest will come naturally.
