About the role… We are excited to be recruiting for an Assistant Accountant. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups. Reporting to the Regional Accountant, this role is a key accounting position with the opportunity to progress. You will be a valued team member working within one of our fast paced dealerships with a keen eye for detail. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of working within an accounts department and provide the highest level of accuracy, all whilst contributing towards making Stoneacre the Number One Motor Group.

An average day as an Assistant Accountant…

  • Assisting with accounts operations
  • Producing various accounting reports including weekly vehicle profits, debtor reports and forecasts
  • Various month end reconciliations
  • Control manufacturer bonus debts
  • Control key debtor and stock control accounts
  • Reconcile key accrual accounts

About you… You will be AAT part qualified or have relevant practical experience. Experience within the motor industry would be advantageous including the use of Kerridge system. However, full training will be provided. Candidates currently working in practice/profession seeking their first move into industry will also be of interest. Strong attention to detail and a team player. Good IT Skills, particularly MS Office including Excel. We want you to love what you do – The rest will come naturally.

Schedule: Monday to Friday
