We are excited to be recruiting for a MOT Motor Vehicle Technician. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups. As a MOT Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the MOT testing, service, repair, and maintenance work for our customers' vehicles, preparing them for the road ahead. Representing various manufacturers and working on a diverse range of vehicles and models, you will take pride in your work, owning your tasks and completing them to the highest standards. We are seeking candidates willing to train within the Manufacturer Franchise, with ambitions to progress to Senior and Master Technician levels. A typical day as an MOT Motor Vehicle Technician:
- Reporting to the Service Manager, meeting franchise and company standards
- Performing maintenance, servicing, and repairs on all vehicle types
- Working efficiently within scheduled times
- Diagnosing faults, testing vehicles, and repairing components
- Maintaining records and providing quality reports
- Keeping the work area safe and organized
- Advising on vehicle faults and future servicing needs
About You:
- Experience in the automotive technical sector
- Qualified to Level 2 NVQ or equivalent, with an MOT Tester’s Licence
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification is advantageous but not essential
- Full UK driving license
