We are excited to be recruiting for an Electrical Installation and Maintenance Engineer. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK s fastest growing motor groups.
Working as part of the facilities management team, you will be responsible for travelling to various branches carrying out installation, maintenance, routine inspections and repairs to electrical systems throughout the group. An average day as an Electrical Installation and Maintenance Engineer…
Working as part of a growing team within facilities management you will:
- Carry out all work to the requirements of BS7671
- Install, service, and maintain the electrical infrastructure throughout the group.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, performing repairs and upgrades as needed.
- Work within project time constraints, identifying and communicating without delay any potential risks to the project delivery dates.
- Complete testing, inspection and certification.
- Be responsible for completion of concise documentation of work completed, including service reports and certification.
- Offer professional customer service, providing guidance to clients on the use and upkeep of installed systems.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, as well as maintaining company vehicles and
- equipment to the highest standards.
- Undertake any relevant training as required.
- Be required to work with and develop apprentice\’s technical skills.
- Undertake minor works to mechanical systems or building fabric where required.
About You…
- Hold relevant electrical certifications and qualifications.
- Have a good working knowledge & application of BS7671 18th Edition and the systems
- we install.
- Hold a recognised testing and inspection qualification. (2391 or equivalent)
- Have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with clients
- and colleagues
- A full clean driving licence and a willingness to travel to locations across the country.
- A good understanding of Health and Safety is essential.
- ECS/CSCS Card (Preferred)
- IPAF (Preferred)
- Willingness to go the extra mile.
