As a Bodyshop Estimator, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring that customers\’ vehicles are fully and accurately assessed for repairs and damage to a high standard. An average day as a Bodyshop Estimator…

• Work closely with the Bodyshop Manager to estimate vehicles requiring body repairs and paintwork to high standards.
• Ensure estimates comply with Thatcham/Manufacture methods and are profitable.
• Liaise with Bodyshop Technicians regarding supplementary orders and parts.
• Obtain final approval for repairs and liaise with insurance companies for authorisation and invoicing.
• Provide insurers with parts and subcontract details for audits.
• Assist the Bodyshop Manager with daily operations of the Bodyshop.

About you…

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure with a calm demeanor.
• Experience in developing relationships with customers, insurance companies, and colleagues.
• Audatex certification is essential.
• ATA/VDA certification is preferred but not essential.
• Experience with Autoflow is advantageous but not required.
• Driven and determined to maintain a productive, profitable department.
• Passionate about your work and achieving results.
