Videographer / Content Producer – Stone & Wood Carpentry & Building
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per year, depending on experience

Location: Predominantly site-based across Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Greater London and surrounding areas
Stone & Wood Carpentry & Building is looking for a full-time Videographer / Content Producer to join our growing team.
This is a hands‑on, site‑based role focused on capturing the work, people and projects behind Stone & Wood.
You'll spend the majority of your time visiting our live projects, filming our carpenters, trades and wider team as they work, and documenting projects from the early stages through to completion.
We're not looking for someone to sit behind a desk editing videos all day. We already have a marketing team who will take care of editing and publishing the content. Your job is to be where the work is happening and capture it.
You’ll need to have a strong eye for what makes good content — whether that’s a piece of skilled carpentry, an interesting stage of a renovation, a project transformation or simply a good moment involving the team.
What you’ll be doing
- Regularly visiting Stone & Wood projects and filming work in progress
- Capturing high-quality video for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and other marketing channels
- Following projects over time to create strong before, during and after content
- Filming our carpenters and other trades carrying out their work
- Capturing workmanship, construction processes and finished details
- Spotting interesting content opportunities while on site
- Occasionally filming team members explaining projects, techniques or challenges
- Taking high-quality photographs of projects and completed work
- Organising and supplying footage to our marketing team for editing and publication
- Working with our marketing and operations teams to ensure key projects are properly documented
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is confident behind a camera and comfortable spending most of their working week out and about on active construction sites.
Professional videography experience would be beneficial, but we’re equally interested in someone with a strong portfolio and a natural eye for content.
Experience within construction isn’t essential. Someone coming from social content, property, automotive, sport or lifestyle videography could be a great fit.
You should have:
- Strong videography skills with examples of previous work
- A good understanding of short-form and social-first video
- Good photography skills
- Confidence working around different people and environmentsAn eye for interesting moments, details and stories
- Good organisation and file-management skills
- The ability to manage your own time across multiple locations
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between projects
- An understanding of site safety, or willingness to learn
