This is a key role in ensuring our school buildings and grounds are safe, secure, and well‑maintained for our children, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Support the Site Manager in the day‑to‑day maintenance and operation of the school premises.
- Carry out basic repairs to ensure the school site is clean, safe, and compliant with health & safety procedures.
- Act as a designated key holder, providing out‑of‑hours and emergency access to the school site, and assisting with security, including opening and locking the premises.
- Liaise with contractors and support site projects as required.
Qualifications
- Have practical maintenance or caretaking experience.
- Are proactive, flexible, and able to work independently.
- Have a good understanding of Health & safety procedures.
- Are approachable, trustworthy, and a good team player.
