My client is an award-winning national law firm with over 700 staff in offices located across the country. The firm prides itself on their reputation for the care and development of their staff. This is a business that offers a supportive and professional working environment alongside a sensible work/life balance. The role sits within their Property team.

My client is seeking someone with at least 3-5 years previous experience as a legal secretary or PA in a UK based law firm. Previous property experience is ideal but not essential as training and support will be given. You will provide the solicitors and fee earners in the department the highest level of administrative support. This is a varied position within a fast-paced, dynamic team!

Main responsibilities:
  • Diary management - Booking meetings and rooms
  • Dealing with all telephone, email and general queries, responding appropriately
  • Assisting with billing and credit control
  • Organising travel, booking transport tickets and hotels
  • Managing the filing including electronic filing
  • Keeping clients up to date through correspondence, emails and phone calls.
  • General administration tasks such as printing documents, scanning and post
The ideal applicant will possess the following skills:
  • At least 3-5 years previous experience as a legal PA
  • Experience in property matters such as Land Registry applications and searches is ideal, but not essential.
  • Confident in the use of case management systems and MS Office applications
  • Enthusiastic, pro-active and flexible, an active team player
  • Enjoy working to deadlines and prioritising your workload accordingly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The salary is circa £30k for the right experience, plus excellent company benefits. The role is hybrid, generally working 2-3 days in the office each week. Please apply with your current CV.
