This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Costs Lawyer or Costs Draftsperson to join a collaborative and growing team working on a varied and high-quality caseload.
The Role
- Support a number of specialist litigation teams, advising on costs matters across a broad range of disputes for clients including insurers, local authorities, housing associations and healthcare organisations.
- Preparing costs schedules for summary assessment.
- Drafting Bills of Costs, Points of Dispute and Replies.
- Preparing and advising on Precedents H, R and T.
- Negotiating costs.
- Advising on third party costs.
- Dealing with provisional and detailed assessments.
- Providing costs advice to litigation teams and clients.
