The opportunity
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join Stone King's International Trusts and Estates team, advising private clients, charities and other solicitors. The successful candidate will relish the opportunity to become a specialist within a team that focuses exclusively on cross-border work and is able to advise on the private international law (conflicts of law) of almost every jurisdiction of the world.

Key responsibilities
- Effectively managing an individual caseload (with supervision where appropriate);
- Attending to clients of the firm in the office or elsewhere if needed;
- Working in a collegiate and collaborative way within an immediate team and wider Firm environment.
- Communicating promptly and effectively both internally to colleagues and externally to clients;
- Maintaining your continuing professional development requirements and taking an active interest in furthering your knowledge within the field of law;
- Actively marketing the team in conjunction with other team members and other teams in order to develop the firm's client base.
- Assist with supervision and development of other team members where appropriate.
Requirements
Essential- Extensive experience working as a solicitor in trusts and estates, with some exposure to cross-border matters. Specialist cross-border knowledge is preferable, however, training will be provided.
- Experience in the supervision and development of other team members.
- Experience dealing with HNW cross border matters.
- Previous experience in proactive business development and marketing; ability to demonstrate generation of new revenue streams and the ability to promote the firm and cross-sell other specialisms internally and externally.
