The Opportunity

We are seeking a consultant to work with our Business Development and Public & Regulatory teams to assist in identifying and tracking upcoming tender opportunities within the public sector. The individual will be responsible for researching procurement pipelines and monitoring tender portals to help our firm proactively engage with relevant contract opportunities.

This opportunity would suit individuals with experience in working with regulatory bodies and public sector organisations and has experience/knowledge of the tender and procurement processes within this sector.

We are looking for this project to be tendered for on a number of days basis, with a completion within 1-2 months.

Key Responsibilities

General duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Research public sector procurement portals, tender websites, and government frameworks to identify upcoming opportunities
  • Identify the location of public sector procurement announcements, spending plans, and tender pipelines to ensure early awareness of potential contracts
  • Provide recommendations for bid planning
  • Ensure basic alignment with public sector procurement policies, frameworks, and compliance requirements

Requirements

Essential

  • Experience working with regulatory bodies and public sector organisations
  • Proven experience/knowledge of public sector/government tendering and procurement processes
  • Experience using bid management software and tools
  • Excellent research and data-gathering skills
  • Ability to work independently and deliver timely updates on project

Desirable

  • Professional certification in procurement or bid management (e.g., APMP, CIPS)
  • Experience in market research and strategic positioning for tenders
