Position Overview
This role will manage and optimise the firm's CRM system and client feedback processes, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and actionable insights. The role acts as the subject matter expert for CRM, supporting adoption across the firm and enabling the BD & Marketing team to make informed, data‑driven decisions. The position can be based in any of Stone King's six offices (Bath, Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds, London, or Manchester) and offers hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

  • CRM system ownership
    Act as the subject matter expert for the CRM system, ensuring functionality meets business needs. Oversee day‑to‑day CRM operations, including data quality, updates, and troubleshooting. Develop and deliver CRM training for BD & Marketing team members and fee earners.
  • Client Feedback Programme
    Operate and maintain the client feedback programme, ensuring timely collection and reporting of insights. Support the Head of Ops in analysing feedback data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Data Governance & Compliance
    Ensure compliance with Data Protection and GDPR requirements across all CRM and marketing data. Implement processes for secure data handling and storage.
  • Insight & Research
    Conduct research on market trends, clients, and companies to support BD and marketing initiatives. Provide data‑driven insights to inform growth plans and client strategies.
  • Team Leadership
    Directly manage the CRM Executive.

Essential Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of CRM platforms, including configuration, data management, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience delivering CRM training and driving adoption across teams.
  • Ability to manage client feedback programmes and translate into actionable recommendations.
  • Skilled in analysing feedback and market data to identify trends and opportunities to support strategic planning.
  • Ability to conduct market and client research to support overall Business Development and Marketing initiatives.
  • In‑depth understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements, with proven experience in implementing secure data handling and storage processes.
  • Previous experience managing team members and fostering a collaborative working environment.
  • Ability to act as a subject matter expert with strong influential skills to improve and implement best practice across the firm.
