We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, assisting with food and drink orders, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and experience in food service environments. Previous experience in catering, serving, or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Duties

  • Welcome guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Serve food and drinks in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Set up dining areas, including table arrangements and cleanliness standards.
  • Handle payments efficiently and accurately at the point of sale.
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including clearing tables and sanitising surfaces.
  • Support barista duties if required, including preparing specialised coffee drinks.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods.
  • Assist in catering events or special functions as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
  • Experience in restaurant or barista roles is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
