We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, assisting with food and drink orders, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately.
- Serve food and drinks in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Set up dining areas, including table arrangements and cleanliness standards.
- Handle payments efficiently and accurately at the point of sale.
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including clearing tables and sanitising surfaces.
- Support barista duties if required, including preparing specialised coffee drinks.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods.
- Assist in catering events or special functions as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Experience in restaurant or barista roles is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
