Location: Selkirk (with travel to sites across Scotland and the UK as required)
Salary: £13.62 to £15.39 per hour

As a Repairs Operative, you'll be responsible for carrying out a variety of repair works safely and efficiently across a range of infrastructure projects. You’ll help deliver projects to the highest standards while ensuring safety remains the top priority.
This is a physically demanding, site-based role that includes routine confined space working and regular travel across Scotland and the UK.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out concrete repairs, structural repairs, coatings and linings, pipework, civils and groundwork activities.
- Working safely in accordance with approved RAMS and method statements.
- Setting up and maintaining safe working areas, including barriers, signage and access equipment.
- Mixing, applying and finishing repair materials to manufacturer specifications.
- Using hand tools, power tools and small plant safely and correctly.
- Completing pre-use equipment inspections and reporting defects.
- Maintaining clean, safe and organised work areas.
- Working collaboratively with Site Supervisors and fellow operatives to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
Qualifications
- Experience working within construction, infrastructure, utilities or engineering.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work at height safely and in confined spaces.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
