Overview We are recruiting for a Planner to join our Delivery team in Beverley.

The role involves developing and maintaining project programmes, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and supporting project teams to ensure delivery is achieved safely, efficiently, and in line with agreed schedules.

What you'll be doing You will be responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of water and environmental projects from tender through to completion.

The role requires close collaboration with project managers, engineers, commercial teams, and clients, and includes hybrid working with occasional travel to project sites and client locations.

Duties and Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and update project programmes using Microsoft Project and Netsuit Pro Scope ERP.

Produce baseline, detailed, and short-term look-ahead programmes to support project delivery.

Monitor project progress and update programmes to reflect actual performance.

Analyse critical path activities and identify risks, delays, and opportunities.

Recommend and support implementation of mitigation measures where required.

Collaborate with project, engineering, commercial, and site teams to gather accurate programme information.

Support tender planning activities and programme development for new projects.

Produce regular progress reports and planning updates for internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure programmes align with project milestones, contractual requirements, and delivery objectives.

Support change management processes by assessing programme impacts of variations and delays.

Who we're looking for Experience in a Project Planner role within engineering, construction, infrastructure, or utilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Project.

Strong understanding of project planning principles, scheduling methodologies, and critical path analysis.

Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
