We are recruiting for a Site Coordinator / Site Manager to join our Delivery team in Derby. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of tasks on our Water Frameworks.
We are a direct delivery specialist contractor to both the water industry and wider water environment. We currently hold 30 frameworks, and we work with most of the UK's water companies and the Environment Agency.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of safety, health, environment, quality, and brand, as well as dealing with the client and its representatives.
- Make pre-construction site visits and understand site set up requirements.
- Ensure provisions are made for the delivery and storage of plant and equipment to ensure compliance with Stonbury's Anti-Theft Policy.
- Assist with updating the project programme.
- Liaise with the procurement team to ensure that sites have the appropriate and correct materials and plant, and they are delivered in timely fashion.
- Utilise the Client Portal to keep client regularly informed of on-site progress and include photos, videos as evidence of ongoing and completed works.
- Liaise with commercial team with regards to early warnings and compensation events.
- Conduct site inspections, completing relevant documentation and escalating issues when necessary. Act as a mentor to site staff, promoting a just culture with regards to safety, health, environment and wellbeing.
- Monitor/manage any Sub-contractors or specialist contractors and check they are working to the RAMs provided and relevant permits.
Who we're looking for
You should have experience of assisting with the management of all aspects of a project from start to finish.
Essential
- Able to use an iPad to read technical documents such as Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH Documents.
- Comfortable with entering confined spaces and accessing works on a construction site.
- Hold a current CSCS Card and SSSTS or SMSTS as a minimum.
