OverviewWe have an exciting opening for a Framework Manager to lead our Northumbrian Water team during a period of contract expansion and new framework growth with 2 new frameworks covering civils and environmental works secured for AMP8. Taking overall responsibility for the area, this role will focus on developing the client, building the team and overseeing project management.
We are a direct delivery specialist contractor for both the water industry and the broader water environment. We currently hold 29 frameworks and work with most of the UK’s water companies and the Environment Agency and have held frameworks with Northumbrian Water for over 30 years.
* Up to £70k per annum plus company car or car allowance* Training and advancement opportunities* Hybrid working arrangements* Excellent benefits packageWhat you’ll be doingReporting to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the team delivers client projects to the client’s satisfaction and standards on our Northumbrian Water contracts and be a part of expanding this workload to support Northumbrian Water’s drive for success in AMP8 and beyond.
This is an exciting opportunity for a focused and driven leader to grow existing and new frameworks to enable team growth. You will drive area business development, team culture, and project performance.* Build effective relationships with Northumbrian Water clients and take part in 121 and client framework meetings and specific forums to maximise presence and exposure* Own framework development activities by critically evaluating contract performance to ensure profitability and maximise growth potential* Take ownership of the client development plan to maximise business development opportunities* Support and Develop the delivery team to build a culture of success, quality and safety across all projects.* Oversee and ensure project performance in all areas, and produce accurate and timely reports as required* Work alongside the Regional Director to identify and deliver the team’s strategic objectives* Have active involvement in the project bid process, working closely with the Commercial team on a daily basis* Work alongside the Safety, Health, Wellbeing, Environment, and Quality (SHWEQ) team to ensure best practice throughout the whole team using an approach of effective communicationWho we’re looking forWhether you are a seasoned leader, or aspiring to take the next step in your career, we are looking for ambitious and dedicated people who add value because they care about what they do.
Essential* Ideally HNC/HND, Foundation Degree, BEng etc* Experience of working in the water industry ideally within a civils environment* Proven outstanding client management skills* Commercial and Programming Experience* Demonstrable ability to drive team business development activities* Experience in overseeing a team who deliver civil engineering projects* Demonstrable ability to liaise confidently at a senior level with internal and external stakeholders* Discernible skills in resourcing, engaging, influencing, and developing both site and management teams
