Lining Technician

Overview

We are recruiting lining technicians with experience in plastic membranes and/or single ply roofing/sheet membranes.

• £17 per hour for price work when available.

We specialise in sustainable water asset management solutions, delivering exceptional value in potable water, wastewater, and environmental sectors.

What you\’ll be doing

You will work on clean, dirty water, and environmental sites using Leister heat guns, wedge welders, and installing 1.0mm – 2.0mm membranes such as HDPE, LLDPE, and FLAGON. Work will be both external and internal, involving structures like ponds, reservoir roof liners, drainage details, reed beds, flagon baffle curtains, s/s baffle curtains, lead joint encapsulating, internal tank linings, and temporary hatch covers. There will be frequent travel and overnight stays.

Who we’re looking for

We seek a candidate with proven experience and expertise in both extrusion welding and wedge welding.

Previous experience with single ply roofing, plastic membranes, or plastic flooring is advantageous.

Willingness to learn other products and materials, e.g., overbanding and waterproofing, is desirable.
