An experienced Chef is required to join the team of our well-established School Catering Department. The successful applicant will have a genuine passion for preparing healthy, nutritious meals and delivering a high-quality dining experience for our pupils and staff. Applicants must have relevant experience in a similar role and hold appropriate catering qualifications.
The position offers the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated and friendly team committed to providing excellent service and promoting healthy eating within the school community. Stonar is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 2 to 18, which was rated excellent by ISI in October 2018 for both pupil achievement and personal development - a standard maintained in our recent 2023 inspection. Our pupils regularly achieve results which are beyond expectations both academically and personally and we pride ourselves on our ability to nurture the learning needs of every individual in a respectful, supportive and globally-minded community. All staff are expected to proactively support the aims of the School.
Stonar is situated in over eighty acres of beautiful Wiltshire countryside, yet only a twenty minute drive from the World Heritage City of Bath and within easy reach of the M4 corridor. The School benefits from being part of Globeducate, a forward-thinking international group of schools, giving pupils and staff the opportunity to be an active part of a globally-minded community.
