Macfarlane Group UK Ltd is hiring a Warehouse Driver / Relief Driver (HGV Class 2) to join its logistics team in Horsham. This is a full-time onsite role based at Oakhurst Business Park in Southwater. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys warehouse work but also has a valid HGV Class 2 licence and is happy to drive when needed. Most of your time will be spent in the warehouse, with occasional driving duties to cover holidays, sickness, or other planned absences. You will help prepare customer orders, receive deliveries, organise stock, and keep the warehouse running efficiently. When required, you will complete local multi-drop deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This role suits reliable, flexible, and hardworking people who enjoy practical work and want a stable career with daytime hours only from Monday to Friday. Job Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries.
- Support stock control and inventory checks.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe.
- Load delivery vehicles correctly and safely.
- Cover local HGV Class 2 delivery routes when required.
- Follow company health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with warehouse and transport teams.
Job Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience in a busy environment.
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Flexible attitude towards warehouse and driving duties.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable with a good work ethic.
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety.
- Ability to lift and move goods safely.
- Forklift Counterbalance or Reach licence is an advantage but not essential, as training can be provided.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday during daytime hours.
