Medgen Ltd is hiring Mental Health Healthcare Assistants to support children and young people with mental health and behavioural needs. This role is suitable for caring and patient people who have experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and emotional or behavioural challenges. The job involves helping young people feel safe, supported, and comfortable in their daily activities. Workers will provide emotional support, assist with routines, and help manage challenging situations in a calm and professional way.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support children and young people with daily care needs
  • Provide emotional support during difficult situations
  • Help manage routines, transitions, and behaviours
  • Follow care plans and behaviour support strategies
  • Keep clear and accurate care records

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 6 months UK experience as a Healthcare Assistant
  • Experience supporting people with Autism and ADHD
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to get one
  • PMVA training or willingness to complete training
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Must have the right to work in the UK

SALARY

From Β£17.50 to Β£22.25 per hour
