Are you as excited as we are when we talk about the storage and distribution of bulk liquids? Join us as a Maintenance Manager. As a Maintenance Manager, you will be entrusted with leading the technical asset management activities at the terminal, ensuring the execution of maintenance and the completion of sustaining capital expenditure (capex) projects. You will collaborate with local and global asset management teams to refine standards and procedures and oversee the 5-year maintenance plan.

What you will be doing

  • Lead the operational side of the Asset Management department.
  • Prepare and execute the Asset Management Plan, covering corrective and preventive maintenance strategies, mechanical integrity, and spare part policy.
  • Manage regular KPIs reporting on maintenance and projects, optimizing document control and workflow management using the Enterprise Asset Management System.
  • Engage in innovative maintenance techniques and liaise with stakeholders to uphold technical standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead operational aspects of the Asset Management department.
  • Develop team competencies and ensure role representation in the Asset Management Plan.
  • Prepare, communicate, and execute the Asset Management Plan covering maintenance strategies and programs.
  • Report KPIs on maintenance and project portfolio execution.
  • Optimize Enterprise Asset Management System usage for accurate maintenance administration and workflow management.
  • Coaching and development of the maintenance team to keep pace with best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Create a safe and efficient work environment for maintenance and project works.
  • Ensure full compliance with legislative requirements, SHEQ policies, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • Technical and/or chemical experience.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience (depending on terminal size and complexity) in a technical environment of which some years in a leadership position.
  • Experience in managing small CAPEX projects and/or leading M&R function in a complex facility.
  • Demonstrated capability for training employees, facilitating meetings and events, written reports and presentations, and project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management at various levels.
  • Systematic, result driven, team player, customer focused, analytical.
  • Certifications such as PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, CRE, Institute for Asset Management are a plus.
  • Experience within a storage terminal or chemical process environment is a plus.
