In this role, you will contribute significantly to our terminal operations by ensuring the safe and efficient management of our mechanical equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting day-to-day preventive, planned, and reactive maintenance, all carried out to the highest possible standards. Your work will support the overall safety and effectiveness of our operations.
As a Mechanical Technician your role will be pivotal in maintaining the mechanical integrity of our terminal operations. You will execute preventive and planned maintenance tasks to ensure operations run smoothly and safely.
Key responsibilities:- Complete mechanical tasks associated with the Preventive Maintenance Program.
- Perform breakdown maintenance, ensuring efficient resolution of issues.
- Conduct mechanical tasks related to the installation of new equipment.
- Maintain safety standards, ensuring the well-being of employees and contractors affected by work actions.
- 5 yearsβ minimum experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally in the Oil & Gas or Chemical industry.
- Experience working within a COMAH site is advantageous.
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and writing skills are required.
- Knowledge of Risk Assessments and COSHH.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is essential.
