Description
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be a vital part of our dynamic team, responsible for managing the efficient flow of trucks in and out of our terminal. Your key tasks include vehicle weighing, processing, and providing precise documentation to drivers and our operatives. You will also be the face of our company, greeting site visitors and ensuring a positive first impression. This role requires a high level of concentration and attention to detail due to the fast-paced nature of the work and the importance of accurate documentation and reporting.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing trucks, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Weigh vehicles and process documentation accurately, following company procedures.
  • Issue precise documentation to drivers and Stolt Operatives, using our specialized computer system.
  • Handle HMRC reporting requirements and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for site visitors, providing a friendly and professional welcome.
  • Maintain a high level of concentration and attention to detail, especially when handling critical tasks.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve processes and enhance overall customer service.
  • Ensure a safe and secure working environment, following health and safety guidelines.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in customer service.

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to work, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, especially our specialized stock management software.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of HMRC reporting requirements or a willingness to learn and comply with regulations.
