Stolt-Nielsen’s Corporate Development team is continuing to expand and is looking for a Corporate Development Analyst.

The role requires a confident, efficient and self-motivated individual, who is a capable communicator with the ability to influence people with analysis.

Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is a leader in the storage and transportation of bulk liquids: Chemicals, clean petroleum, gases, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals. We also focus on opportunities in aquaculture & LNG.

What you will be doing

We need you to come up with analysis that balances the needs of today with a vision for tomorrow. As a Corporate Development Analyst in our London HQ, you will be part of a collaborative team with a big impact. You will gain direct exposure to strategic M&A, direct equity investments and capital market transactions. You will contribute to both corporate development initiatives and investments across a range of industries and growth stages.

Key responsibilities

  1. Market research and deal sourcing support: Perform desktop research on relevant trends/technologies and develop screening lists to identify potential opportunities.
  2. Investment opportunities evaluation support: Evaluate company materials, including management presentation, data room, financial model, etc. Conduct detailed industry and competitor research.
  3. Perform valuation and return analysis support for the Corporate Development team.
  4. Support preparation of materials for investment committees, senior management committees and board meetings.
  5. Portfolio management support.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in economics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering or similar.
  2. 1 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Experience working for accounting firm, corporate finance advisor, consulting, or venture capital.
  4. Good understanding of accounting / financial modelling is important.
