Medical Secretary – 24 to 26 hours per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our medical secretary team. Previous experience in primary or secondary care desirable but not essential as training will be given. A secretarial/admin background with typing skills is essential.

Key duties

  • Typing letters and reports
  • Dealing with queries from patients
  • Liaising with hospitals
  • Handling tasks from their own allocated list of GPs

Cover requirements

Cover over 4 or 5 days (with a day off either Monday or Tuesday to fit in with the current team cover) but Thursday and Friday afternoon cover is required.

Salary and benefits

Salary – up to £14.05 per hour depending on experience. Uniform supplied. We offer 5 weeks annual leave + bank holidays pro rata.

Start date

Ideal start date mid to end November/early December 2025.
