We are looking for someone who will enjoy using their experience, creativity, and initiative to support our rewarding work helping unwanted and vulnerable dogs find safe and loving homes. As a smaller charity, this is a varied and hands‑on role with real responsibility and the opportunity to shape fundraising activity across digital campaigns, events, supporter engagement, and community partnerships.
The successful candidate will help drive both online and in‑person fundraising activity, maintain and grow supporter relationships, develop new partnerships, and increase awareness of SDR within the local community and beyond. We are looking for someone who is resourceful, organised, and capable of delivering cost‑effective fundraising growth.
Success metrics for the first 6–12 months:
- Increased fundraising income across digital campaigns, events, and community activity
- Growth in supporter engagement and donor retention and significant increase in regular giving
- Improved visibility and awareness of SDR online
- More consistent, compelling, and engaging social media communications, linked to financial returns
- Successful delivery of fundraising events and campaigns
