Stokenchurch Dog Rescue has been rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs since 1963. As an independent charity receiving no statutory funding, everything we achieve is made possible through the generosity of our supporters, volunteers and local community.
We're looking for a passionate and proactive Fundraising & Engagement Lead to help us grow income, strengthen supporter relationships and increase awareness of our work. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll:
- Develop and grow fundraising income through regular giving, sponsorship and community campaigns
- Create engaging social media content, supporter communications and fundraising appeals
- Build relationships with supporters, volunteers, local businesses and community groups
- Plan and deliver fundraising and community events
- Monitor performance and help shape the future of fundraising at SDR
We're looking for someone with strong communication skills, digital fundraising or social media experience, a flair for storytelling and a genuine passion for making a difference. Most importantly, you'll be joining a small, dedicated team committed to providing outstanding care for dogs in need.
