We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Workshop Technician to join our exceptionally busy and professional STEM team. If you’re committed to providing day‑to‑day technical support across practical learning environments, for example motor vehicle, electrical, engineering workshops, ensuring that equipment, tools, materials and learning spaces are safe, organised and fully prepared for teaching, assessment and demonstration activities, this role could be for you!

You’ll have recent experience within a relevant engineering, motor vehicle or electrical industry and be able to demonstrate current knowledge and skills. If you’re an enthusiastic, positive and willing to work as part of a team, we look forward to hearing from you. Your passion and enthusiasm will be underpinned by the experience, skills and understanding you bring including current knowledge of new technologies in your industry and knowledge of health and safety within workshops.

As such, the post‑holder will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including a check of the Children’s Barred List, in line with the statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
