We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Early Years and Education Lecturer to join our busy and professional Health & Early Years team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a full-time, 12‑month contract starting in September/October 2026, providing an opportunity to contribute to a well‑established and growing curriculum area across Early Years and Supporting Teaching and Learning.
Responsibilities
- You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment to a range of learners, supporting them to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for progression into industry or further study.
- You will contribute to planning, delivery and assessment, as well as supporting learners to achieve positive outcomes.
Qualifications
- You will have relevant subject knowledge in Early Years and/or Education, alongside experience of teaching or training in a further education or similar setting.
- A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is essential, along with a commitment to continuous professional development and high standards.
